Le jumelage comme solution pour l’évaluation de l’innovation en matière de conception
La méthodologie Twinning+ entend développer et tester en collaboration des activités communes de soutien à l’innovation qui ciblent les organisations, en s’appuyant sur l’expérience et les connaissances collectives de ces dernières. S’appuyant sur le concept Twinning+, le projet DesImO, financé par l’UE, mettra en relation quatre organisations dans le but d’examiner conjointement les meilleures pratiques et de fournir des recommandations et des instruments pour une mesure efficace de la conception et de son impact sur les PME. Le projet comprendra un examen par les pairs des initiatives passées et en cours afin d’évaluer l’impact des interventions en matière de conception dans le secteur des entreprises. Il identifiera les bonnes pratiques et étudiera plus en détail leur mise en œuvre et les méthodes de collecte de données appliquées, en estimant les avantages et les limites de ces méthodes. Le projet élaborera un document sur les options de conception (Design Options Paper) qui inclura les résultats de l’examen par les pairs et les essais pilotes.
Objectif
The main objective of the project is to collaboratively address a common innovation support challenge, through the concept of the Twinning+ methodology. Design Impact Observatory (DesImO) aims to bring four organisations together, to jointly explore best practices and provide guidelines and tools regarding effectively measuring Design and its impact on SMEs.
During the implementation of the project, the partners will peer review past and on-going initiatives focusing on measuring impact of Design interventions in the business sector (and especially in SMEs). The good practices will be identified and further researched on how they were set up, what data collection methodologies they applied, what were the advantages and limitations of those methods.
Using the Twinning Advanced methodology, this initiative will lead to the elaboration of a Design Options Paper (DOP), which will include the results of the peer-review process and of the pilot testing, and will also act as a backbone of how to set up a ‘Design Impact Observatory’. This will help other innovation agencies to monitor the level of integrating Design – or any other driver of innovation – into business and its impact on SMEs.
