A new way to promote the power of small
In the European business ecosystem, there is great power in being small. Representing 99 % of all businesses in the EU, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of Europe's economy. However, despite being engines of economic growth, they still face many challenges. Measures aimed at unlocking their potential will therefore ensure that these challenges become opportunities. The EU-funded INNOCOACH project will improve coaching service mechanisms for the Enhanced European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot, which supports small companies that have the potential to scale up internationally. Specifically, the project will design better coaching methods. It will also exchange good practices so that Europe can capitalise on its innovative SMEs to compete in global markets.
