Objective
Companies in the services sector can increase quality and customer satisfaction through the implementation of the EN 29004 / ISO 9004 quality standards. The main objectives of this project are to improve service performance and customer satisfaction, which will lead to an increase in productivity, efficiency and to cost reductions.
The partners will conduct a needs analysis of service sector companies. A training curriculum will then be developed, taking account of the particular needs of the service sector in the area of quality assurance. The training itself will be designed so as to permit flexible learning. A CD-Rom and pages for the Internet will also be developed for use as accompanying training materials. Training will be delivered rapidly on-line throughout the network.
Impact
The training developed will help companies achieve larger market shares in their particular sectors. The partners also expect that the training will contribute to the harmonisation of procedures at European level.
