Objective
The project proceeds from the supposition that competitiveness and innovative capacity depend essentially on corporate structure. It is planned to conduct a transnational study to examine the influence of cultural factors on company decisions and strategies, using the example of water management.
Based on this analysis, training modules will be developed for decision-makers, trainers and management staff. A transnational course will aim at increasing understanding of the influence of cultural factors on the basis of case studies presented via interactive learning tools. The course will focus on exposing barriers to innovation in the water-management sector and is designed to enable those taking part to positively influence factors hindering innovation in the area of corporate culture.
Impact
The concept is a convincing one by virtue of the balanced and interdisciplinary make-up of the project group and its clearly formulated objectives. The savings made possible by innovative water management are evidence of the economic benefit and, thus, the positive market opportunities for the project.
