Objective
The aim of this project is the cross-border application of the "Learning by doing. Setting up a company abroad" module developed as part of the EU's PETRA programme for initial vocational training in the office, industrial, administrative and sales sectors. The project intends to update a training programme for teachers and young people on how to use new communications technologies and improve their language skills. It will also respond to methodological problems associated with evaluating knowledge gained during training initiatives and key skills developed during training.
Dissemination of the training modules aimed at young people in initial vocational training will necessitate adapting and comparing curricula used in the partner countries, transferring evaluation and self-evaluation methods applying to the key skills acquired as well as transferring results to national curricula. The product will be available in the form of a brochure printed in both English and French as well as on the Internet.
Impact
Transnational expansion of initial vocational training curricula aimed at increasing independent and practice-oriented learning among young people.
