Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .
Exploitable results
DOLPHIN has made descriptions, analyses and consolidation of the directions and results of the IS&N Domain (Service Engineering, Security & Communications Management) projects. Workshops, conferences and expert panels have been organized, and summary reports produced, as well as technical guidelines, mechanisms and concrete actions for disseminating and promoting the IS&N Domain results in Western and Eastern Europe.
Twelve deliverables have been achieved, presenting: analyses of the results of the Domain 5 projects to be used as an information vehicle for these results,
- summaries of the guidelines sponsored by DOLPHIN,
- reports of relations with forums and standards groups related to Domain 5 projects,
- the reports on the meetings of a special Expert Panel set up to give external input to the Domain 5 projects,
- Domain 5 promotional documents including a WWW page containing all general DOLPHIN information, and
- a set of guidelines for co-operation and dissemination between DOLPHIN and the concerned projects. The following specific actions have been achieved:- organisation & participation in five workshops disseminating the results of Domain 5,
- an IS&N Communications newsletter edited and printed for each ACTS Concertation meeting (four times ayear),
- the production of a CD-ROM to disseminate results from each Domain 5 project,
- major contribution to the IS&N'97 and 98 Conferences,
- production of a brochure containing an analysis and synthesis of Domain 5 results,
- contribution to the special edition of a Journal on Communications Management depicting Domain 5 results,
- three meetings of a special Expert Panel set up to give external input to the Domain 5 projects organized and linked with the ACTS Concertation meetings, providing the only external view of Domain 5.
As a result of these actions, we can estimate that in 1997 and 1998 well over one thousand persons (without counting any multiplier effect) outside the ACTS community directly received the information on Domain 5 results disseminated by DOLPHIN.
DOLPHIN has also significantly improved the capacity to assimilate and use this information. Dissemination activities have been targeted to the Central & Eastern Europe telecommunication world. Other effects are cross-project work created by DOLPHIN as well as information exchange within and outside ACTS.
