CONTROL OF THE REPRODUCTION OF LEGUME SEEDS WITH THE AIM OF INCREASING THEIR PRODUCTION AND IMPROVING THEIR PROFILE WITHIN THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURE

Objective

The project is aiming for developing a model based on pea as pilot plant for many different legumes in order to obtain and synthesize knowledge on the factors influencing the number and quality of legume seeds with the aim of improving their place in low input farming systems. The protocol deals with studies in relation with growth and floral potential, pollinisation, fecondation, fruit set and seed yield.
