Objective The primary direct aim of this project is to provide some basic information on the effects of the intensified fertilization and irrigation techniques used with existing carob trees, and takes into account soil factors. A secondary aim is to reduce the pre-planting juvenile period and subsequent transplant stress, leading to economic gains for the grower through reduced losses of young orchard stock.
