Objective
The project aims to extend the scope for controlling Dacus oleae by selecting and exploiting improved strains of Bacillus thuringiensis. This involves isolating new strains of Bacillus thuringiensis, and, in a more novel aspect of this proposal, exploiting the toxicity of modified symbiotic bacteria.
