Objective

The objective is to study the dynamics of root growth and root architecture as related to nutrient dynamics in the soil/plant system. The concertation includes the standardization of methodologies for the determination of root activity and dynamics of root growth and decay as related to plant growth stage and nutrient and water availability. The project can contribute to the improvement of plant nutrient uptake.
