THE USE OF GRAZING AS A MANAGEMENT TOOL IN NATURAL AND SEMI-NATURAL WOODLAND ECOSYSTEMS

Objective



The Concerted Action will review the role of grazing by wild and domestic animals in forests. Existing knowledge and ongoing research

The project tasks includes:

- bring together information and develop protocols for conducting forest grazing research
- establish a database of existing literature
- synthesise and publish results from grazing experiments and to create an European database of grazing exclosures
- develop a basis for management guidelines for forest grazing.
