Objective
- System for Planning and Control of the Integrated Finishing process
This will allow the reduction of lead times in the finishing by the optimisation work allotments on the different machines.
- Fabric identification system
Detection in the real time of the pieces effective position and related process parameters in the finishing department.
- Monitoring system for finishing process
Control of the technological parameters to achieve reduction of the re-manufacturing, product suitability and reproducibility.
- Whole integration along the textile chain (Fabric producer and garment)
Self-certification of the process operations done in the Weaving Mill and creation of the Technical Qualitative Chart of the piece to reduce the disagreement upon the fabric piece quality.
- Planning and Decision Support system for the Garment Manufacturer process
Optimisation of the whole manufacturing cycle and increasing of flexibility and reaction speeds against market sudden changes.
The project aims to develop an integrated system for the management of the production cycle of finishing in the weaving mill, and for the scheduling and management of the production cycle in the garment mill, with an eye to the full integration between the weaving and the clothing companies.
There are three main objectives:
a. development of a system of Planning and Control of the Integrated Finishing process within a global system of Weaving Mill management
b. development of a system for the gatering of fabric quality data which has the aim of arriving at a complete self-certification of the process operations done in the Weaving Mill and the creation of the Qualitative Technical Chart of the piece.
c. development of a system of Planning and Control of the Clothing company process which, using the qualitative and technical informations coming from the Weaving Mill, achieve the optimization of the whole manufacturing cycle.
Such a system can bring positive effects in the textile-clothing sector as regards quality, ornaization and flexibility.
