Training Industry in StresS Measurement

Objective


A considerable advance in the understanding by 8 European Industries of measuring and interpreting residual stress. This has spanned industries from nuclear power generators and automobile manufacturers, to the Aircraft industry. A further outcome has been the large number of publications (over 30) that have communicated the results of this programme to the engineering community at large.
