PREVIOUS STUDIES OF VALONGO SLATE (PORTUGAL) SEEM TO SHOW THAT IT SHALL BE POSSIBLE TO EXPECT A COMPACT PRODUCT FROM ONE KIND OF SLATE WASTE AFTER HEAT TREATMENT WITH EVENTUALLY FORMATION OF A STRUCTURAL CERAMIC MATERIAL.
