Exploitable results

Cytochemical and quantitative/cytophotometrical characteristics of DNP, RNP and basic proteins in the peripheral blood leucocytes (PBCs)- in connection with data of participation of lymphocytes (including tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes - TIL) and granulocytes in the response to tumours during the course of neoplastic process, have been studied in the cases of early and advanced neoplastic disease, as well as in pre-cancerous states. The results shows that some quantitative changes in the PBCs' and especially TIL' cytoplasmic RNP-, DNP-content and distribution (in the histograms of individual cell nuclei), and basic proteins' content, have a great information capability for the purposes of qualitative and automatic selection of the normal and abnormal PBCs of cancer patients. Possible application of this method for early diagnosis of tumours and pre-cancerous states has been proposed
