Exploitable results
A formula has been developed (from raw material research) that produces an aqueous-based contact adhesive. This provides adhesive consumers in the wooden furniture and interior building industries with an alternative to solvent-based wood glues, which are known to emit toxic substances into the environment and to be highly inflammable. Government legislation in Spain is imminent which will restrict the use of solvents and force market demand for water-based products.
