Optimisation of control and process of pulp optimisation of control and pulp refining.

Objective

The research purpose is the optimisation of control and pulp refining.

The industrial results to be expected are the following :

*a reduction in raw materials consumption and a better use of recycled fibers.
*an improvement of paper mecanical characteristics, and therefore a reduction in damage rates, and a better productive capacity. *considerable energy and raw materials savings.

The technological problems to be solved are the elaboration of an optoelectronical analyser, which is able to determine all the dimensional and morphological characteristics of pulp fibers.

In order to achieve this optoelectronical analyser, the following problems must be solved:

-preciesness of measures to obtain the maximum of informations. -limitation of time of observation and of data transmission thanks to the optoelectronical system.
-presentation of fibers in the observation stage.
-preservation of cleanness of the system through out the time
