Objective
The aim of this project is to develop a new technology to realize heating clemarts based ont he use of intrinsic conducting (polypyrole).
This technology, patented by C.E.A. will be used to manufacture heating elements for seats (especially for cars). Other applicants of this technique are :
- Chemical and cosmetic industry
The technological problems which will be solid during this project are the following :
- Development of a polymerization process compatible with industrial installations.
- Study and enhancement of the stability of the conducting polymer in the conditions of use. For that purpose several formulations of the polymer and different polymerization conditions will be examined.
