Automatic pumice discrimination system

Objective

One of the most common uses of the pumice ore is in the cloths washing. In the pumice ore, very often, there are inclusions of hard materials. These inclusions are destroying during the process, the cloths. Thus, it's imperative that these hard materials should be removed. The above need cannot be covered by the existing techniques.
Through this project is proposed the creation of a system based to high efficiency material detecting techniques. This system will be based on the principle of magnetic permeability of different stones.
Nowadays, this discrimination is done by employees who are along the production line. The final product quality and the volume of production depend of the workers' capacity and the fatigue factor. The proposed system is planned to offer higher and standard product quality, higher productio rate (up to 30%) per production line and minimal labour costs.
Moreover, such a system with very few changes could be applied in every application of material discrimination in favor of every European SME with similar problems.
