OPEN WORKSHOP TO MEET INDIVIDUAL NEEDS IN THE METAL MANUFACTURE INDUSTRY

Objective

To respond in a flexible way to the individual training needs of unskilled adult workers. Access to training courses is on a weekly basis. Duration is also flexible.

MAIN DOMAIN OF INNOVATION:

Methodologies for the planning and management of training in the framework of human resource development.

TARGET GROUP(S):

Unqualified or less qualified. People working in SMEs. People at work. To qualify unskilled workers to respond to new demands in the labour market.

OPERATING CONTEXT:

Raising qualifications. Safeguarding jobs. Productivity improvement. By qualifying the work force the enterprises will improve their productivity and competitiveness.

TECHNOLOGY:

Industrial and materials technologies. Information and communication technologies.

INVOLVEMENT WITH ENTERPRISES:

Partnership with employers associations, trade unions, joint bodies. Training institute-enterprise cooperation.

INVOLVEMENT OF SOCIAL PARTNERS:

Joint social partnership steering/advisory groups. Projects managed and coordinated jointly by social partners.

RESULTS:

Transferable models and concepts. Innovative training materials. The concept of the flexible model and the training materials are transferable.
