Exploitable results
Methods for harvesting, storage and handling of Miscantus and hemp are developed and are tested at small scale. For crops like switchgrass and reed canary grass the methods need to be developed. For all mentioned crops a model in being developed for selection of methods and optimisation and calculation of costs for various production chains and scenarios, taking into account local weather and conditions of production.
