Thematic network on industrial liquid effluents

Objective

Use of water in industrial processes is very wide-spread and has to satisfy many criteria, two of which are essential: industrial need without overconsumption, respect of environment. In spite of accomplished progress, industrial aqueous waste remains a source of environmental pollution and danger for health of citizens. Numerous EU research projects are running, to resolve this problem of waste. It is thus important to review the industrial viability of the recommended techniques and to create exchanges among the manufacturers, laboratories and universities so as to propose solutions of water treatment in closed circuit: It is the purpose of this Thematic Network. The problem of aqueous waste being a worldwide problem, the project is proposed in the frame of the IMS which will allow to confront the techniques of purge and recycling at world level.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
