Novel eco-efficient oxidation processes based on h2o2 synthesis on catalytic membranes

Objectif

The project will develop advanced catalytic materials for and prove the concept of an integrated technology for eco-efficient reactions of selective oxidation using H2O2. The integrated technology is based on a first stage of synthesis of H2O2 from hydrogen and oxygen using an advanced membrane catalytic reactor and a second integrated stage where the produced H2O2 is used for epoxidation and hydroxylation reactions of industrial relevance. The advanced materials related to the catalytic membrane and metallo-silicate nanocomposite catalysts used in these two stages of the integrated process. The technology is foreseen for both phenol synthesis and epoxidation or hydroxylation of substrates of interest for fine chemical productions.
