Exploitable results
With the work done so far, a 30 kW advanced alternating current to direct current to alternating current (AC/DC/AC) converter has been realised, from which the grid side inverter has completely, and the machine side rectifier has been tested up till their respective rated voltages and currents. The integral control system has been completed, implemented in a personal computer and has been completely tested on a 3 kW active pitch controlled, variable speed windturbine with permanent magnet generator and a controllable load.
