Novel combined on-line and kinetic measurement techniques for the chiral detection of compounds by optical spectroscopy

Objective

The objective of this project consists in the development of a new on line spectrometer for the detection of chiral molecules. This spectrometer will exhibit sensitivity performances of a factor of hundred to thousand better than the actually available systems. The project will also investigate the coupling of the spectrometer to high performing separation techniques. Finally, the performance of the system will be evaluated on chiral molecules interesting for their environmental and biomedical applications.
