FARAWAY aims to fuse radar and automatic dependent surveillance data through a two way data link.
An Airborne Data Communication link will be developed to allow air traffic controllers and fleet operators to collect data from aircraft for traffic and fleet management. Validation took place in Roma and Malmö. It will be commercialised world-wide.
