Project description

New open platform to enhance nuclear safety training

Safety of nuclear facilities and radiation protection for workers and the public is of paramount importance. It also requires continuous training and teaching for professionals working in the health sector and workers exposed to occupational hazards. The EU-funded ENEEP project will establish an open platform for any European university or European research institute involved in experimental nuclear education, training and competence building. The project’s aim is to become a leading European platform offering experimental nuclear education and training. Over the course of the five years the project will run, the aim is to reach up to 1 300 students and trainees.
