Project description
Enhancing the electric and hybrid-electric vehicle market with new generation battery systems
Electric and hybrid-electric cars will be a key feature of the automotive industry in the future. To maximise the market uptake of these vehicles, concerns relating to their battery range, cost, reliability and charging times will need to be tackled. Addressing this, the EU-funded ALBATROSS project aims to develop fast-charging, cost-effective, efficient and reliable battery systems with next-generation thermal management technologies that will provide the electric and hybrid-electric passenger car market with innovative solutions. The project will bring together the expertise of 21 partners from 10 countries.
