French scientists get out to woo next generation
Cities across France will be shining the spotlight on research and scientific advancements this year as part of the annual European Researchers’ Night activities. Building on 15 years of participation in these annual activities, the EU-funded VOYAGES project will bring together 12 partners and organise events in 14 cities across France. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, activities will include both face-to-face gatherings and online talks. As many as 1 000 researchers in social sciences and humanities will participate in the events with the aim of encouraging the next generation of researchers to pursue careers in science.
