Ziel

The project consists of completing the experimental fluidized bed pilot installation for separating heavy metals from steel works dusts (Contract 7215.BA/103) in order to investigate deep reduction of iron ore fines and dusts with high iron content. If successful, this process could become the initial step in an integrated smelting-reduction process. As with project PP 203 below, this project will be coordinated on a European scale with the aim of creating a large European venture capable of competing against Japanese and American processes in world markets.
