Obiettivo The project aims to establish the suitability of a new Cr Mo V steel for the construction of either heavy forging pieces (56 tons) or hyper-heavy plates (150 mm thick), as for their forming, welding and stainless coating in order to characterize their mechanical behaviour at hot stage and in agressive environment (H2S) in prospect of their use for high pressure agregates of the petrochemical industry: hydrotreatment reactors, big hydrocrackers. For industrial programmation reasons, the contract should start on the 1st April 1990.
