The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has published a call for expressions of interest concerning service contracts related to the preparation of documentation. The following areas are covered: - Drafting of technical texts including multilingual manuals, brochures for projects, laboratories, groups, etc.; - Quick and continuous drafting of documents on urgent request (composition and translation) in particular for documents of fewer than 30 pages; - Drafting of technical and scientific documents, in digital format or on negatives ready for printing; - Translation of technical and scientific texts (Italian, French, German, English, Spanish); - Preparation of multimedia documents in 3D for Internet (VRML) and CD-ROM; - Drafting, conversion and production of electronic documents (Acrobat, HTML, VRML); - Support computer and telematics equipment involving research (server, workstation, telecommunications instruments, etc.); - Development of Internet, Intranet and Extranet applications; - Electronic publishing activities for Internet and Intranet applications. A list of suitable candidates, which will remain valid for three years, will be compiled from applications submitted under this call which meet the criteria outlined. Invitations to tender and related documents will be sent out at the appropriate time to all or a selected number of applicants on the list for each of the services outlined.
