eTranet Joint Call for Collaborative R&D NOW OPEN
eTranet is a network of national funding agencies currently supported by the European Commission?s ERA-NET Scheme, with the aim of facilitating cross-border cooperation between national programmes that sponsor R&D projects related to the strategic exploitation of ICT for traditional manufacturing industries. Building on the success of the 1st Call in 2006, the eTranet consortium has just launched its second joint call, in which eight countries are involved: Austria, Flanders (Belgium), Cyprus, Finland, France, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey. We will support R&D projects that aim to improve the competitiveness of manufacturing industry. The projects must have a trans-national collaboration with consortia comprising of at least two countries involved in the call. The application process will consist of two steps: a mandatory outline proposal (submission deadline May the 28th) followed by invited submission of full proposal.
