Commission gives advanced information on illicit drugs tender
The European Commission, Directorate General III - Industry, has announced a pre-information notice for an invitation to tender relating to the identification of chemical precursors with respect to illicit drugs. The study will aim to determine the chemical precursors entering into the production of the most frequently encountered synthetic illicit drugs and will produce a diagram showing the crucial stages for synthesis. The study must also identify the synthetic narcotics and psychopathic drugs that can be obtained from each precursor by indicating the derivation links. The whole process should be visualised diagrammatically, summing up the progression and successive stages using a computer.
