Scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and Israel
Vice-President Filippo Maria Pandolfi (Science, Research and Technological Development) met on 1 December 1992 with Mr. Amnon Rubinstein, Israel's Research, Science, Energy and Infrastructure Minister, to review the situation of scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and Israel. Since April 1992, this collaboration is increasingly oriented towards projects aimed at specific technologies and renewable energy. Both Mr. Pandolfi and Mr. Rubinstein expressed their wish that scientific and technological cooperation be explicitly taken into account during the current evaluation of the economic cooperation agreement (signed in 1975) between the Community and Israel.
