VIPS: Press Pack: Constructive approach to bone repair
Using bone grafts or metal implants has its limitations for repairing damaged bones. To help overcome these, a team of researchers from Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom are developing new bone substitutes based on living, bioactive polymers.
