Options for safer seas
A call for tenders has been issued by the Commission of the European Communities in the context of a action programme forming part of the EC common policy for safer seas. The tender concerns exploration a range of enforcement options, designed to secure stricter compliance in EC waters with international and Community rules, particularly on safety at sea and pollution prevention, with a view to forming decisions on effective and pragmatic measures.
