State aid for French ultra-clean food-processing factories
Authorization for State aid (cases where the Commission raises no objections) has been approved with regard to the French government's multiannual research programme "Ultra-clean factories in the agro-food industry". The programme aims to improve the design of factories and manufacturing processes in order to support quality assurance and provide increased food safety for the consumer. State aid of ECU 6 million (at an average maximum aid intensity of 40%) is approved by the Commission.
