Protection from biological agents
The Council has adopted a Directive (93/88/EEC, 12.10.1993) amending Directive 90/679/EEC on the protection of workers from risks related to exposure to biological agents at work (seventh individual Directive within the meaning of Article 16 (1) of Directive 89/391/EEC). Member States shall bring into force the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive not later than 30 April 1994 (except in the case of Portugal for which the date of compliance is 31 December 1995).
