Council Directive on satellite earth station equipment
A Council Directive in respect of satellite earth station equipment (93/97/EEC) supplementing Directive 91/263/EEC concerns the definition, placing on the market and the free circulation of such equipment. The Directive also sets out the measures that the Member States should take to ensure compliance with this Directive plus conformity assessment rules, the use of the CE marking of conformity, and the assistance to be provided to the Commission by the Approvals Committee for Terminal Equipment in the implementation of the Directive.
