Coordination of procedures for the award of public service contracts
The proposal for a Council Directive submitted on 13 December 1990 (COM(90) 372) on the coordination of procedures for the award of public service contracts, defines terms in this field and includes, inter alia, provisions concerning RTD services whose results accrue exclusively to the contracting authority. Service contracts relating to the water, energy, transport and telecommunications sectors (Directive 90/531/EEC of 17 September 1990) are unaffected by the present Directive.
