Database on transport networks
The following tender has been cancelled by a notice appearing in Official Journal No S 27 of 9.2.1994 p. 241 (RTD-News, RCN No 2116). The original information set out below is retained for reference purposes, and is no longer valid. The Commission calls for expressions of interest concerning the creation of a database (gathering and evaluation of data) on the demand for transport of goods and persons on the long-distance transport networks of the EU and EFTA countries (all carriers). Also required is the preparation of a computer programme to analyse traffic flow on these networks and present them in graphic form compatible with EUROSTAT's Geographical Information System. Applications must be accompanied by proof of extensive experience in setting up databases on transport demand and in developing computer programmes on transport planning.
