Professorship in economic policy at the European University Institute
The Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute is seeking to fill a vacancy for the joint professorship in economic policy. Candidates should have an international perspective and an interest in contemporary European issues. The Robert Schuman Centre conducts research on the major issues facing contemporary European society. Its activities are based on the findings of basic research in the human and social sciences, in particular in the disciplines represented by the institute (economics, history and civilization, law and political and social sciences) The successful candidate will be a full member of both the Department of Economics and the Robert Schuman Centre and in particular will be responsible for coordinating a research programme with the Robert Schuman Centre. The appointment is for a four-year period, renewable for an additional four years, and the successful candidate will be expected to take up his position on 1 October 1994.
