Passive Solar Energy: an electronic guide
Passive solar energy systems which operate only by natural heat transfer mechanisms have practical applications in all building structures. The following subjects are covered: - Heating, cooling; - Insulation; - Windows, solar walls, sunspaces; - Energy consumption, human comfort, environment. The guide is produced with support from DG XVII (Energy) of the European Commission through the THERMIE programme and the OPET network. This information is available in the form of an electronic primer which runs under DOS and Windows.
