The Commission's JRC at Karlsruhe has published an invitation to tender to select one or more firms that would be entrusted to work within the hot cells as well as with the technical equipment of the Institute, as follows:
- Installation of scientific equipment in glove boxes and hot cells;
- Dismantling, removal or adaptation of the technical equipment (cooling systems, drainage systems, fire-extinguisher systems);
- Maintenance work in the ventilation system;
- Operation and maintenance of drainage collection points;
- Construction of smaller mechanical devices for hot cells as well as their installation and commissioning;
- Carrying-out of welding work for scientific apparatuses.
