Communications experts required for DG XIII
The European Commission, Directorate-General XIII, foresees a requirement for temporary technical assistance in a number of domains under its responsibility. Eight positions in Directorate B (COST and RACE programmes) are foreseen in the following fields: - Expert in optical fibre communications and technologies; - Expert in mobile communications and related technologies; - Expert in multimedia services and communications; - Expert in signal processing and image communications; - Expert in human factors and communications for persons with special needs; - Expert in multimedia and image communications; - Expert in optical communications; - Expert in mobile/personal communications. Candidatures may be submitted for one or more of these positions. The contracts are proposed for an initial period of one year. At the Commission's discretion this period may be extended twice up to a maximum of three years. The place of work will be the Commission's premises in Brussels.
