Minutes of the sitting of the European Parliament of 24 January 1991 (made available by the April publication of OJ No C 48) include Decisions approving common positions established by the Council concerning the conclusion of Cooperation Agreements with Finland, Sweden and the Swiss Confederation in the field of applied metrology and chemical analysis (BCR programme), and with Austria, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Swiss Confederation as regards the European Stimulation Plan for Economic Science (SPES programme). Also included are amendments proposed by Parliament (first reading) to Commission proposals for Council Decisions on two specific RTD programmes, one in the field of non-nuclear energies (1990-94) and one in the field of agriculture and agro-industry, under the third Framework programme for research and technological development.
