Management staff required for European Environment Agency
The European Environment Agency is organizing a selection procedure with a view to recruiting management staff for its headquarters in Copenhagen and drawing up a reserve list. This list may also be used to recruit staff for other posts of a similar nature subsequently created. Initially, the following posts are to be filled: - Four Programme Managers: . Administrative and support services; . State of the environment monitoring and databases; . Operational infrastructure publications and information; . Integrated assessment prospective analysis; - Ten Project Managers: . Programming and contracting, quality control; . Information technology EEA and EIONET; . Data and information exchange software; . Publishing technology, publications and library; . Media-oriented monitoring and databases on the state of the environment; . Guidelines and standards for monitoring databases - CDS link with other systems and networks; . Analysis and pooling of information, development of manuals and information pools; . General report on the state of the environment monograph series and other diffusion products; . Communications, institutional relations, public affairs; - Five other management posts for officers in charge of: . Accounting and contracting; . Personnel, administration and supporting services; . Library and related services; . Management Board and Scientific Committee Secretariat and general documentation support; . System and network administration; - Secretarial posts. Candidates must be nationals of a member State of the Agency (EU Member States, Austria, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden). They will be offered a five-year renewable contract.
