Evaluation of the STAR programme
A call for expressions of interest concerns the coordination of the evaluation of the programme for Special Telecommunications Action for Regional development at Community level (STAR). A summary report on the effectiveness of STAR will draw conclusions from previous phases of the evaluation, from national studies being carried out in the Member States and from other sources. It will address issues related to STAR's contribution to the regional economic base, its value added services, applications provided to particular economic sectors and firms plus other regional development matters (employment creation, ATS, local economic actors) and will also incorporate a number of comparative studies.Information is available from: Commission of the European Community Attn.
