easyRights Online Hackathons

In between 13th and 23rd of January 2021 easyRights project is organising a series of 4 online hackathons that will ease service access to (im)migrants and will help create a more welcoming Europe.

The easyRights project has the overall objective to combine co-creation and AI technology to make it easier for non-EU immigrants to understand and access the services they are entitled to. Project activities include organisation of 4 hackathons in each of the 4 pilot sites of Birmingham (United Kingdom), Palermo (Italy), Larissa (Greece) and Malaga (Spain), to procure the development of original and innovative IT applications in line with the technical features of the easyRights platform and to fulfill predefined targets of improvement of local public administration services to the immigrants. Mark your calendars with the hackathon dates: Birmingham: 13 - 15 January 2021 Palermo: 13 - 15 January 2021 Larissa: 21 - 23 January 2021 Malaga: 21 - 23 January 2021 The winning teams from each hackathon will receive a *grant of 5000€, to be used to further develop the product/project in collaboration with easyRights technical team and the municipalities of the aforementioned four cities.
